Bard Springs Bathhouse
Athens, Polk County

CCC men from Camp Shady built this fieldstone bathhouse around 1936. Its corners slope inward as they rise, a detail you see on a lot of CCC stonework. The Bard Springs area also has a CCC picnic shelter and two small dams on the creek.
