Benton Municipal Waterworks modernization
Saline County
Benton planned a city water system in 1914 and built it in 1915 and 1916. In 1937 the Hazel Street water plant got a new filtering plant and a reservoir with twice the old capacity, one of the upgrades of the Public Works Administration era.
