Berryville post office mural
Berryville, Carroll County

This one isn't a painting. Sculptor Daniel Olney made three painted plaster reliefs for Berryville in 1940: a farmer holding a sheaf of wheat, his wife with a butter churn, and between them a plow crossed with a guitar, for work and play. They sit above the postmaster's door in the Berryville post office.
