Cabin No. 1
Shorewood Hills, Hot Spring County

The CCC's 3777th Company built cabins at Lake Catherine from local stone and wood, with screened porches facing the lake. Their camp was one of the last in Arkansas to close before the war. In 1944 the Army used the park to house soldiers recovering from wounds.
