Cold Springs School
Marion County

This little Craftsman-style school in Cold Spring Hollow, inside the Buffalo National River area, was built around 1935 with WPA help. Hepsey was remote: in 1926 an 18-year-old teacher poled herself across the Buffalo twice a day to get to class.
