Garrett Whiteside Hall
Howard County

Nashville's wood-frame gym was built with a $14,000 National Youth Administration grant, starting in May 1939 and finished in 1940. It is named for Garrett Whiteside, a Nashville native and congressional secretary who helped the school district get the money.
