Lewisville's fourth courthouse went up from 1940 to 1942, with the WPA paying 40 percent of the cost. It was the county's first Art Deco building. The square also holds the Steel family cemetery from 1860, making this the only Arkansas courthouse that shares its square with a cemetery, plus a log cabin from about 1830 moved here in 1968.
