Lake Catherine State Park--Cabin No. 3
Shorewood Hills, Hot Spring County

Men of the CCC's 3777th Company built this stone and wood cabin so park visitors had a place to stay overnight. Its nomination dates it to about 1935, but other records say park construction began in 1937 and date the first cabin to 1940 and 1941. It is one of three CCC cabins at Lake Catherine on the National Register.
