Lincoln County Courthouse

Star City, Lincoln County

Lincoln County sold $75,000 in bonds, and the WPA paid the wages of the eleven men who built this courthouse in Star City. Work started in 1941 and it was dedicated on August 5, 1943. It may be the only Art Deco building in the county. The upstairs courtroom still has its 1940s judge's bench, railing and theater-style seats.
