Magnolia, Columbia County

Joe Jones, a self-taught St. Louis painter famous for wheat fields, painted "Threshing" for Magnolia in 1938. It shows farmers pitching golden wheat into a threshing machine while a horse cart hauls bundles away. The mural now hangs in the Magnolia Public Library at 220 East Main.
