Parks School House
Scott County
Parks built this stone schoolhouse in 1940 with WPA help, at a time when hard times were driving families out of the area. Local men did the work: Monroe Kuykendall and his sons handled the carpentry, Wade McCraw hauled rock from School House Hill, and Slim Jeffery laid it.
