Solomon Grove Smith--Hughes Building
Twin Groves, Faulkner County

After Solomon Grove's schoolhouse burned in the early 1930s, the National Youth Administration built this two-room stone building in 1938 and 1939 with Smith-Hughes vocational money. A local stonemason laid the rough stone in an unusual herringbone pattern.
