University of Arkansas: Chemistry Building
Fayetteville, Washington County

The University of Arkansas had planned a new chemistry building since 1927, but the Depression stalled it. In January 1934 the Public Works Administration made $1,165,000 available for it and the Vol Walker Library, and the chemistry building opened in December 1935.
