Wynne post office mural
Wynne, Cross County

Ethel Magafan visited Wynne and sketched people at work in the cotton fields before painting "Cotton Pickers" in 1939. Pickers carry loaded sacks to a wagon to be weighed against a wide Delta field. She installed it with help from her twin sister, Jenne. It still hangs in the Wynne post office.
